Then hear from his mother, who is overflowing with gratitude to have her two boys in the program. Lastly, meet Yolanda, one of the teachers who calls her students "her children."

Update on Lagoa

Things are going great at Living Stones Lagoa! They are finishing up their semester (winter break in July), and hoping to be able to set up the computer classroom (just like in Cajueiro Claro) in August when they begin the second semester. See for yourself:
Please keep Pastor Ricardo and his family in your prayers as they has such a full schedule, as well as these two amazing teachers who work at the program. Also pray for the city of Lagoa de Itaenga, and the continuing gang and drug violence.

Eggs at Lagoa

Living Stones Lagoa is going strong and under the organized leadership of Pastor Ricardo. They had their Easter celebration before Easter, so when more Easter chocolate eggs were provided, it was the perfect opportunity for the children to step up and earn their prize through memorizing verses and character qualities.
With one teacher and 15 kids in the mornings, and a different teacher and 15 kids in the afternoons, Living Stones is filling in a huge community need, as overcrowded schools have mothers scrambling for options for their children.
Here is a video of all of the Easter Celebrations (Thanks to Caid Ferguson!)

*Note: The painted rocks you see in the video were the "eggs" we hid for the Easter Egg hunt!
